Hi, my name is Helen & I would like to welcome you to Molly Music. We provide young children with high quality music & movement classes. Little ones can benefit from all aspects of the music through singing, playing instruments, dancing, movement – and simply having lots of fun.

Music is such an important influence in our children's lives, developing vital self-confidence and a sense of achievement. Children just love music, responding in all kinds of positive ways, and our songs and movement are carefully designed to nurture this. At Molly Music we use songs that enable both children and grown ups to feel comfortable and to join in easily. Traditional nursery rhymes & action songs as well as exciting musical arrangements make Molly Music classes truly stimulating and fun, with new themes regularly introduced to maintain variety. Children love our eye-catching colourful props, high quality musical instruments, play-parachute and puppets - not forgetting our bubble time experience!

We balance classes with movement & making music with quiet time & lullabies to create a music class with something for every child to enjoy.

As a singer I have worked within the entertainment industry for over 20 years. I studied singing at the Central School of Music and spent the next two years traveling the world as a professional Solo Singer, 12 months of that singing in Australia. In 1999 & 2005 I was delighted & honoured to receive awards for 'Best Female Vocalist of the Midlands'.

Growing up in a musical household, singing has always been a passion to me. Setting up Molly Music has been a wonderful opportunity to combine my love of singing with my love of children. I am also very fortunate to have the assistance of Molly, the most adorable puppet dog. Children simply love her!

Katy is our performing arts and specialist dance and drama teacher. A dedicated mother of four, Katy has a wealth of experience working with children within The Birmingham Royal Ballet, The Midlands Arts Centre, numerous dance and drama companies and children’s centres.  She wows our little ones with her amazing qualities and performance and superb singing voice.  What a fabulous addition to the Molly Music team!

Kirsty is our West End performer who has played the role of Cosette in Les Miserables!. She is a true asset to the team - not only is she an amazing singing teacher/dancer, she plays eight instruments, has a BA Hons in Music and has appeared at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on numerous occasions. Kirsty is a natural with the children and captivates the Molly Pups, Tods and Tots with her stunning voice and friendly smile.

Julie adds a further dimension to our classes and to the children’s enjoyment.  Mum of two, Julie, is passionate about music and is a big fan of musical theatre.  Having previously worked in a pre-school, Julie adores children and has a natural ability to engage our little ones and this helps to make Molly Music so unique.





Our team is dedicated to having as much fun in the sessions as possible and this all adds up to a winning combination, bringing energy, enthusiasm and warmth to our songs and games.
